Owner: Steve + Windham. This is the human magic layer.

  • Record the episode.
  • Keep the banter, disagreements, mistakes, and nuggets — that is the show.
  • No file organization required during recording.

🎚️ Mix Audio

Owner: Steve. After recording, Steve mixes the episode in GarageBand before handing it to Chief.

  • Clean up the raw recording.
  • Balance voices, intro/outro, clips, and music beds.
  • Export the final publish-ready MP3/WAV/M4A.
  • Then drop that final audio into the inbox.

📥 Drop Audio

Owner: Steve. Drop the final MP3/WAV/M4A into the intake folder and tell Chief the title/episode number.

Example message:
Ep. 96, “Topic Name” is in the inbox.

If audio is sent through Telegram instead, Chief can still use it — folder is just cleaner.

🦞 Chief Intake

Owner: Chief. I find the audio, confirm duration, create the production pack, and copy the source file safely.

  • Create episode folder.
  • Copy audio into pack.
  • Track working title/number.
  • Do not delete the source.

📝 Transcribe

Owner: Chief. I generate local transcript files and save any Buzzsprout transcript Steve provides.

🎨 Artwork

Owner: Chief drafts, Steve approves. I use prior PAS artwork as style reference and create 2–4 options.

📦 Production Pack

Owner: Chief. This is the one-stop folder for each episode.

Chief should flag uncertainty instead of making Steve dig.

🚀 Publish

Owner: Steve/Buzzsprout. Once live, Chief captures the link and updates the pack.

Owner: Chief drafts, Steve posts/approves as needed.
